Holiday dialysis
Dialysis patients can go on holiday, just like everyone else. It takes some careful planning, but once you’re prepared you can enjoy a break with an easy mind. Whether you’re here on holiday, for your work, or on a family visit, you’re more than welcome to make use of the kidney dialysis facilities at our dialysiscentres in Utrecht and Amsterdam.
Are you looking for a dialysiscentre because you need temporary dialysis? We offer treatments at our centres in Utrecht (Gezondheidshuis), at the Amsterdam UMC, or in a dialysishub. Your treatment is given in a department that offers every convenience:
- Comfortable dialysis stations
- Free WiFi
- TV and radio

Applicationform
To make a reservation, please fill in the applicationform. When we have received your information, we get back to you within 4 weeks.
Information we need
If your application gets approved, we would like to receive the following infromation:
- Medication list and dialysisprotocol
- Recent result (maximum of three months) Hepatitis B
- Recent result (maximum of three months) Hepatitis C
- Recent result (maximum of three months) HIV
- Recent result (maximum of one month) MRSA
Short-stay dialysis tariff
The treatment costs are given in our short-stay tariff guide.
- Are you from the Netherlands? Dianet will claim the costs from your health insurer.
- Are you not from the Netherlands, but you are from a country in Europe? Dianet will claim the costs using the European Health Insurance Card (EHIC). With this card you have the right to receive necessary care while you are on short-stay abroad. We would like to receive a copy from the front and the back of your EHIC-card.
- Are you from the Dutch Antilles? Please contact Holland InterCare. They will help you claiming the costs.
- Are you from outside of Europe? Please pay the costs directly to Dianet beforehand.
- Are you from a country in Europe, but you don’t have an EHIC-card? Please pay the costs directly to Dianet beforehand.
