Dialysis treatment is fully reimbursed under the basic health insurance for Dutch patients. Dianet has made agreements with all healthcare insurers about this. No personal contribution is payable for dialysis treatment. However, treatment may be at the expense of the statutory policy excess. In that case, the healthcare insurer will send an invoice.

Visiting patient rate

Patients who come from abroad for dialysis treatment in the Netherlands pay the so-called visiting patient rate. These rates can be found on the short stay tariff guide. This doesn't apply to patients with a European Health Insurance Card (EHIC).  Dialysis treatment will be reimbursed for them. Please contact your healthcare insurer before your treatment.
